"The good part about this game is the MLG acquisition happened about a year and a half ago so there was enough time in the development cycle with Sledgehammer to be able to really create a strong two-way dialogue between the MLG team, the Call of Duty esports team that exists inside of Activision Blizzard and Sledgehammer the studio to really make sure that the studio itself had all of the best input and knowledge base from the esports world as they were putting the finishing touches on the game."

"Because of that I think that you'll see esports is really front and center in the minds of the studio when they made the game. And you'll see in some of the things we've been able in the past year, like we just launched an integration with GameBattles, the MLG competitive platform into the current Call of Duty. You know, we're continuing to work on efforts like that and also video content and the consumption of video content is a much stronger focus in the World War II game, which I think is going to be a really interesting component to the overall esports mix."
