Andbox oppretter nytt lag som skal konkurrere i Call of Duty: Mobile

Den amerikanske esportorganisasjonen Andbox har presentert et nytt Call of Duty: Mobile-lag. Laget skal avspeile deres tilsvarende lag i Call of Duty League, New York Subliners, og kommer til å hete NYSL Mayhem. En del av spillerne samt staben kommer fra laget Trovo Mayhem.

"Call of Duty: Mobile is a massively popular game globally and it was important for us to establish a team to represent New York given the size of the market, our leadership position in it, and our existing deep roots in the Call of Duty franchise across all platforms," forteller Rohit Gupta, co-founder og Chief Product Officer hos Andbox. "Our presence in mobile gaming and esports puts us in a strong position to engage an even wider, diverse audience of consumers which in-turn provides brands and marketers with a clear point of entry to this increasingly valuable space."

Dermed ble Andbox den første organisasjonene med et lag i både Call of Duty League og på CoD: Mobile-scenen. NYSL Mayhem vil ha full adgang til organisasjonens ressurser og vil inngå på lik linje med de andre lagene.
